BigHeads were originally designed for the plastics moulding industry. This locks them into virtually any plastic product and efficently spreads the applied dynamic loads over the widest possible area. No expensive drilling, filling or "making good" is needed, and labour costs are reduced to a minimum. And now, with the introduction of BigBond, our own range of specialised bonding adhesives, the BigHead "toolbox" is complete.

 

Poppit

POPPIT is a radical new fastening system, for quick and efficient mounting and demounting of panels, trim and cladding used in interior finishing. Its unique self-aligning design means that there’s no need to mark out or pre-drill walls, ceilings or structures. The male and female fasteners are linked by a close-tolerance ball and socket joint. The stainless steel base/ball clicks into the polycarbonate top disc; the whole assembly is then glued into position.

Formulated for the rapid strong surface mounting of BigHead Fasteners to virtually any substrate. Big Bond adhesives are made in 3 formulations, each bond mild or stainless BigHeads to specific materials and surfaces.

 

The TwinDisk Composite Panels Fastening System

The use of composite panels and structures in the Aero, Auto, Marine, Construction and other core industries and applications is growing rapidly. These new materials, utiliing carbon fibre, GRP, glassfibre, thermoplastic and alloy outer skins, consist of core material - in honeycomb, block, foam or solid - bonded to outer skins of a different material.
